About your trip

 A day trip to Fes, one of Morocco's most captivating cities, offers a glimpse into its rich history, vibrant culture, and exquisite architecture. 


Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Rabat to the medina fes. 


Your tour guide will take you to  Fes Medina (Old Town) to Begin your exploration in the UNESCO-listed Fes Medina, a maze-like labyrinth of narrow streets, bustling markets, and hidden treasures.  

You will discover ancient mosques, madrasas (Islamic schools), and beautifully adorned riads (traditional houses).

During the tour you will have the time to admire the intricate zellij tilework, carved woodwork, and decorative calligraphy. 


Some of the highlights will be  Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University one of the world's oldest universities, established in the 9th century. While non-Muslims are not permitted inside the mosque, you can admire its impressive exterior and soak in the atmosphere of this historic institution. 

Chouara Tannery as Fes is famous for its leather tanneries, and the Chouara Tannery is a sight to behold. Witness the traditional process of leather dyeing and treatment from a vantage point above the tannery. Brace yourself for the pungent aroma but marvel at the vibrant colors spread across the vats. 

Medersa el-Attarine this beautiful madrasa showcases intricate tilework and stucco decoration. Explore the enchanting courtyard and admire the delicate details that make this madrasa a true masterpiece of Islamic architecture. 

 

During the tour you will stop for a lunch break (Not included) to enjoy Moroccan Cuisine a chance to take a break from sightseeing and indulge in a traditional Moroccan meal at one of the local riad restaurants. Savor the flavors of tagines, couscous, and delectable pastries, and wash it down with a refreshing glass of mint tea. 


After the tour, your driver will take you back to Rabat.

You may cancel your trip free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled start of the trip. To cancel, please contact us at experiences@afritripmorocco.com and provide your booking details. We will process your cancellation and issue a full refund.


50% Refund - Up to 48 hours before the trip:

If you cancel your trip within 72 to 48 hours before the scheduled start of the trip, you will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total trip cost. To cancel, please contact us at experiences@afritripmorocco.com and provide your booking details. We will process your cancellation and refund the applicable amount.


No Refunds - Less than 48 hours before the trip:

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start of the trip. This includes no-shows or cancellations made on the day of the trip.


Voucher for Future Bookings - Special Circumstances:

In certain special circumstances, such as unforeseen emergencies or unavoidable circumstances beyond your control, we may consider issuing a voucher for future bookings instead of a refund. This voucher will be valid for a specified period, and you can use it towards a future trip with us. Please contact us at experiences@afritripmorocco.com to discuss your situation and explore the possibility of receiving a voucher.
