AfriTrip (and Ghali) – Morocco, done thoughtfully We planned our Morocco trip with AfriTrip, and a big reason the trip worked so well was Ghali, the organizer behind it all. From US → Rabat → Chefchaouen → Marrakech → Sahara → back to Marrakech, everything was planned with clarity and intention—speed trains, private transfers, luxury Vito drives, riad stays, and well-picked local guides. Nothing felt rushed or over-engineered. What Ghali did right: • Extremely communicative – clear updates, quick responses, and proactive check-ins throughout the trip. • Strong local coordination – great guides, beautiful riads, and standout stays like Palais Sebban in Marrakech. • Calm under pressure – when we hit an ATV tour issue at the Sahara luxury camp, Ghali stepped in immediately, coordinated with the camp manager, and resolved it without stress. • Ownership during tough moments – flooding caused a major detour on our Sahara → Marrakech return (nearly a 10-hour drive). Ghali stayed on top of it, kept us informed, and made sure we were okay the entire time. This wasn’t just a “book and forget” experience. Ghali was present, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about how things played out for us—especially when plans didn’t go perfectly. Bottom line: AfriTrip delivers a well-curated Morocco experience, but Ghali is the real differentiator. If you want someone who plans well and shows up when it matters, this is it.

This trip was a once in a lifetime experience and was amazing. Great food, great company & an amazing guide. The only feedback I’d give is that the consistent movement/ time driving in the bus was a lot to adjust on top of being jet lagged. Just something for future trips that would make it easier on some people!

This was a trip for the books! We had the best guide to help us navigate all of our adventures. Mehdi was a class act, and felt like family by the end of the trip. This is an experience I think everyone should have once in their life and something I will never forget. A huge thank you must go out to our host of the Trip, Hannah. She is a shining light in this world and made everyone feel welcomed and loved. My only complaint is I wish I had more time with these amazing individuals in this amazing country.
